EXHIBITION TENNIS
An interesting afternoon's tennis has been arranged by the Muritai Tennis Club on*,the. occasion of the openiu» of their new pavilion. An afternoon tournament will be held, in which the leading Wellington male players will participatl These matches will take place at the club's courts next Sunday, commencing at 2 p.m., and the following players will participate:—Messrs. D. France, N. Smith, D. Coombe, N. Bedford, E. Roussell, R. Ferkins, J. McCarthy, J. Charters, N; Morrison, and .H. Burns. The new pavilion, which has been completed in the most modern style, will be officially opened by the club's president, Mr. H. W. Shortt, who will also present the trophies to tlie various winners of the East Harbour tournament. A dance will be held.in the new pavilion on Saturday night. '
