Earle, is now staying with Mrs. Alec. Hatrick, Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Dalgety. Mangaweka, are visiting "Wellington. Mrs. E. Brundale; Nelson, has returned home from a visit to Opawa. Mrs. Douglas Gordon, Wellington, who has been the guest of-Mrs. W.: H. Price,. Ghristchurch,: returned home yesterday. _ Mr. and Mrs. Warwick Gregory, Wellington, who have been stayjng in Christchurch for the past week, returned home this morning. Mrs. Frank Thomson will leave tomorrow for Sydney, en- route for China and Japan. Mrs. D. S. Patrick, Lower Hutt, will leave by ,the Rangitiki for London on March 15. She will visit friends and relatives in England and Ireland and expects; to be absent for about twelve months. Miss Ethel Parsons has returned to Wanganui from a trip to the Sounds. Miss M. J. Smith, of the staff of the Shannon School, returned on, Saturday from Dunedin, where she has been the guest of her' brother for the vacation. Mrs. C. W. Taylor and family, who have been spending a holiday at Akatarawa, have returned to Hataitai. Miss N. Russell, Wanganui, is visiting Wellington. Mrs. J. W. Stacey, Mrs. H. Wilson, and Mrs. M. Beveridge are Wellington visitors to Auckland. Recent callers at the High Commissioner's Office, London, include:—Captain, and Mrs. James Sinclair Ross, Palmerston North; Mr. and Mrs. F. Bradley, Mr. and Mrs. E. O. Lewes, Mr. G. Heaney Glenn, Wellington; the Rev. and Mrs. G. T. Brown and ' Miss Margaret Brown, Palmerston North.
