LONDON,'February 6. The "Star" says tha.t the Mauretania has been- reprieved from the shipbreakers to lead the British attack against the German,. French, and Itallian lines' competition for American patronage in the King's Silver Jubilee season. The Mauretania's task will be to maintain .Britain's reputation for speed and reliability, and her Atlantic prestige until the new Cunarder Queen Mary is ready.
