Chernov,- the .Agricultural Commissar, reports a great bnprovement in stock breeding. . ■ The number of cattle on January 1, ,1935, had increased 31 per cent;, compared with January 1, 1933, hogs 118 per cent, sheep and goats 11 per cent. ; The Government plans provision for 70,000 new collective cattle breeding farms in 1935.
