',' • -;'r ' The following individual representatives of Wellington centre- in' the" coming NewZealand championships ..at Auckland were put forward by Jlr. : P. F. ; Coira, sole selector:—Miss P. Price (University), holder of the New Zealand women's diving championship, to defend her title; ii. Spry (Wellington), to swim in the 220 yards breaststroke championship; and A! Somervell (Hutt), to swim in the .100 yards free-style championship and to W nominated for the 50 yards invitation scratch race. Mr. A. McKay, treasurer of the centre, was appointed manager of the team and delegate to the annual conference of delegates. A remit put forward by Mr. P. JT. Coira to the effect that.no national diving championship should be held except where modern standard equipment was ia nse and that such an event should be held in v recognised bath or pool was unanimously adopted for submission to the annual conference of delegates tc be held at Auckland during the Dominion swimming championships.
