The annual one-day fixture between North Otago and South Canterbury was drawn. North Otago made 268 (Brooker 77 not out, Uttley 37, Brown 34, Zimmerman 29, Taylor 32). Davies secured four wickets for 49. South Canterbury replied with 108 for seven wickets (Murchison 43, Button 25, Allen 25). .
