Jones took four wickets for 32, T. Jones two for 20, Barry two for 32. Gear, 130 for six (Schofer 40, Cummock not out 30, McLeod not out 24), beat General Motors A, 96 (Wellington 21). Bowling: For Gear, Pollock took four wickets for 29 and J. Asplett five for 30; for General Motors,, Trilford took two for 24. Meadows, 164 for four, declared (J. Dunn not out 71, T. Langford 59), beat General Motors B, 82 (Clothier 23) and 47. Bowling: For Meadows, T. Langford took five wickets for 60, H. Jones four for two and five for 27, K. Dunn four for 13. B Grade. ■ Gracefield, 82 (Henderson 22) and' 57 for three (Henderson not out 30), beat Waiwhetu, 62 (Hayes 34). Bowling: For Gracefield, Webster took six for 22 and Gosper two for seven. Bowling: For Waiwetu, Beagle took four for 10 and Swain four for 16. Gear, 92 (W. Asplett 24) and 116 for four (W. Asplett 20, Ashton 32, J. Martin not out 24, G. Bullan not out 26), beat Central, 77 (Ingham 26). Bowling: For Gear, Martin took five wickets for ol runs and G. Bullen. three for 14; Central, Ingham took four for 35 and Wilson three for 26. Taita A, 148 for eight (Akop 39, Spencer 45, Buchanan 28), beat Taita- B, 110 (Oliver 34) and 38 for eight.
