The report' of tho Church .Assembly Commission, on unemployment, under tho chairmanship of tho Bishop of London, which will be before tho spring session of tho assembly next month, declares its conviction that it is the duty of Christian people to uso their influence to create a strong public opinion which will ■demand that financial, industrial, and economic policy bo so reconstructed as to express* more adequately moral and religious principles which are the only suro foundations of tho social order.
