•MR. DANIEL CONNELLY
A Press Association "message from Christchurch reports the death of ,Mr. Daniel Connelly, at the- age of 65 years. He was'formerly a well-known detective-sergeant in tho-Police Force, and was one of the two detectives who arrested 'the murderer' Eggors following the highway robbery on the West Coast. Sinco "his retirement seven yesjs ago' he had been employed by tho Eacing Conference. Tho late Mr. Connolly never married.
