♦ ADJOURNMENT MOTION
The Legislative Council adjourned at 1 o'clock this afternoon. Tho-Leader of the Co'uncil-(the>Hoii. E. Masters) expressed his appreciation of the help he had received from Mr. Speaker, the Chairman of Committees, and members, and he extended to them his/ best- wishes during tho festive season. * ' ' , The Et. Hon. Sir Francis Bell paid a tribute to the i manner in "ivhich Mr. Masters had led tho Council during the session. - To members he had shown unfailing courtesy, and they all appreciated his diligence in «xplanation to the Council tho various measures lie had to advocate in the Council. Other .members also 3poke in appreciation of tho Leader's work, and referred to the competency which had marked the work of tho Clerk of Parliaments, Mr. C. M. Bothamley. Mr. Speaker (Sir .Walter Camcross) thanked the members for"the references which had been made to him, And expressed his gratification at the fact that tho Council had been strengthened in numbers.
