ORIENTAL BAY BEACH
(To tht Editor.). Sir, —As a regular visitor to • the Oriental Bay beach I am forced to admit that the conduct there is becoming not only annoying, but certainly not in keeping with common decency. The absence of bathing sheds compels people to disrobe in the open, and daily I witness both seises of bathers performing this task, some with apparent difficulty and some with little regard to their open surroundings. Neck to knee costumes, I believe, is. the order of the day, but this regulation is disobeyed to its fullest extent. Dogs of all shapes and sizes collect on this bea"ch, and are a source of annoyance to people, and in addition most, unsanitary. The beach itself could do with a daily cleansing, although the tide sometimes does this very well. I hope someone in authority will read this and take steps to make this little but popular beach what it should be.—l am, etc.,
CIVIC PEIDE,
