The Eoyal Port Nicholson Yacht Club's season was opened today by thOj club's' president (Cdlbnel G. F. C;! Campbell), and this evening a dance I will.be held. On November 24 • a start will be made with the racing programme, the first events of which-are those for keelers and centre-boarders. With the exception of the introduction of a system of self-adjusting handicaps (mentioned in this column a fortnight ago)- the programme is on much ' the same-lines as.last year's./ There will again be a second "prize, in 'the Wylo Prize race;; the donor . this year being the'comniodore-:(Mr; W. P.; Boilings).
