The attendance at the annual meeting of the ■Wellington Ladies' Club was not over large,,but those present appearjeid to look: forward to the coming activities with enthusiasm. . The membership of the club is not what it should be in a city, the size p£ Wellington, but the eommittee--will lose no endeavour 'in securing new members, who will be assured of a hearty welcome.
