THE DAIRYING PROBLEM

LONDON, October 31.
The "Daily Telegraph's" Hague correspondent says that, owing to the continued increase in the output ot dairy produce and the difficulty of exporting it, especially to Germany, which is Holland's chief market, the Government has decided to reduce the milk subsidy in 1935 and has ordered the slaughter of 150,000 dairy cows.. This beef will bo tinned and sold to unemployed at reduced rates or distributed free to distressed families.
