BYRD SEAMAN NON-SUITED

DUNEDIN, This Day.
Represented by counsel as a British seaman who had suffered injury with the Byrd Antarctic Expedition, John Taylor Bint claimed compensation in the Arl.tilTsttion Court for injuries allegedly sustained during service with tin; expedition.
IN'ou-.suit points that there was no nvasler mid servant relationship, Burl, being a joint venturer in the expedition, and that the Jacob Hupport was not a Xe\\- Zealand ship, were raised, while on the fuels it was claimed by the dc--I'ence that it was a trumped-up tale.
The plaintiff was non-suited, the Court h inning only one of ten witnesses called fur the defence.
