WELLINGTON
Every effort is to bo made by the members of" tho Wellington Club to liot only incrcaso tho membership, but to also nrouso enthusiasm among past members, in order that this old-estab-lished dub may regain its former prestige. During the past few seasons tho officers nave had more than their share of difficulties, but have not been disheartened, and have gradually gained ground, winch it is now hoped to materially increase. The- prospects for tho season aro considered bright, and the present members are looking forward to an early commencement of activities. The usual programme of club and inter-club events will be hold, while the annual carnival will also be proceeded with, despite tho extremely bad luck that has attended previous gatherings. A turn of good fortune is certainly duo to the club, and all swimmers will be pleased to see this transpire during the coming season.
