UNDER GUIDANCE OF GANDHI

CALCUTTA, October 25.

Tho Congress Committee, meeting at Bombay, adopted a resolution aiming at the formation of an association with tho object of reviving and encouraging dead or dying village industries.

Tho association will bo conducted under the guidance of Mahatma Gandhi and will be independent of the political activities of Congress.

Mahatma Gandhi said that the povery of the villagers was appalling. The object of the new movement was to encourage the use of goods manufactured in tho country, thus keeping money in India.
