CALEDONIAN SOCIETY
The monthly iiiyleside held by the Wellington Caledonian Society recently, was a great success. The floor was in splendid order for dancing, and there was a big attendance. Mr. W. E. Boyd directed proceedings. Between dances a musical programme was given, as follows:—Mrs. S. G. Crawford; songs, "You Wee Bit Ileather" and "Once Again in Dear Old Scotland"; Miss Constance Kelly, recitations, "The Losing of a Soul" and "The Crooked Mouthed Family"; eccentric dance, introducing the songs "Old Black Joe" and "Pink Elephants," by Mr. J. S. Russell; Reel of Tulloch and Highland Keel, by Master C. Stewart and Misses M. Oates, A. Burnette, and M. Flanagin; step dance, Miss y ßosina Smither. The Pipe Baud gave a'number, of selections, "Auehmountains Bonnie Glen" (march), "Stirling Cnstle" (strathspey), "Jack Wilson" (reel), and as an encore "Blue Bonnets." The accompanists during the ovening wore Mrs. S. G. Crawford, Mr. .H. Rosticn, Pipe-Major W. Eraser, and Piper N. McLcod.
