Trade ligures show big declines. Imports for the first nine months of 1934 dropped £53,000,000, and export* £5,500,000, compared with 1933. The chairman of the Parliamentary Commission reports that the decline is dv« to psychological not technical factors All business is slowed down owing t lack of confidence.
