ROMAN RUINS
Ono of the most extensive Roman ruins discovered in recent times has been brought to light near Tristo by workmen digging foundations for a war memorial. The remains appear to.be thoso of a large basilica, probably of tho tiino of Trajan. They measure about 225 ft by 100 ft. Apart from their size, the ruins aro rich in architectural details, including friezes, columns, statues, and other sculptures.
