Miss Mildred Cathcart, Sydney, who has been staying with relatives in Christchurch, is now in Wellington and will leave by the Wunganella on Thursday on her return, to Australia.

. Miss Peggy James, Masterton, will visit Wellington this week and will be the guest of Miss Margaret Miles, Wesley Road.

Miss Mary McLean has returned to Palmerston North after a brief visit to Wellington for the races. Misses Moira and jsmay Digges-Smith returned to Wellington yesterday after a short,visit to Dannovirke.

Miss Elizabeth Alpers, Christchurch, returned to the south last night after a brief visit to Wellington.

Sister Eleanor Dobby, Taheko, Hokianga, is in Wellington as the representative of tho Maori work at- tho Methodist Women's Missionary Conference. '

Mr. and Mrs. S. Jackson, Wellington, are visitors to Auckland.

Mrs. Brueo Douglas, Christchurch, who has been paying a brief visit to Wellington, will return south tonight.

Mrs. Eoyce Sloanes, Christchurch,, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Shanks, Lower Hutt.

Mrs. G. E.'Powlcr, AVaipukurau, who has been visiting Christchurch, is spending a few days in Wellington before returning" home.

• Mrs. J. Williamson, Wellington, will visit Christchurch this week to stay with her sister, Mrs. Carrick Wcdderspoon. .

Sister Ethel MacMillan, Solomon Islands, is at present in Wellington, for the Methodist Women's Missionary Conference.
