WORSER BAY
Although'not possessed; of any outstanding performers, the Worse* Bay Club comprises a keen lot of young members who can be expected to uphold the standard of, previous years. The annual';meeting was well attended, and there were-evidences of increased support beirtg given during the season. Some promising talent was discovered last term, and with tho natural improvement to be expected, these young lads should keep the'-flag'flying, despite the fact that one or two of the best swimmers are away. This club also combines life-saving ' with competitive swimming, and members are thus well catered for. Worser Bay is the bno club locally which can always make a profit from its annual carnival,' and although the amount is perhaps never large, still it is an indication that the officials are alivo and capable. Their re-election will ensure that the good work in this direction will be maintained.
The Kilbirnie "Wrestling Club will hold its final gymnasium night on Tuesday at the club's premises. The programme will include a number of intergymnasium bouts with wrestlers from Karon and Johnsoriville competing with tho Kilbirnio representatives, at the various divisions from 3st 71b to list 71b. ' There, will also toe novelty, items and boxing displays;
