UNIVERSITY
First to hold its annual meeting was the University Club, and of all the clubs it has probably most reason to feel gratified at its prospects. Of recent reformation, tho club has made excellent progress, and the officers elected can bo relied upon to further tho interests of tho members to 'the fullest extent. ■ The ladies' section is not strong, but it is anticipated that an improvement will be found hero this season as well as on • the men's side. University is the only local club, which has a national champion on its membership, Miss Price,' who won the ladies' diving championship at Christchurcli last season, and the honour is a deserved' ono. For a young club,; University is doing really well, a pleasing feature being tho , excellent showing made in the water-polo competition, and with tho improvement to be naturally expected the club should bo well up this year,
