BACON—GAY.

A wedding which interested many friends took place at St. Matthew's Church, Masterton, recently, was that of Bosie, younger daughter of Mr. and Mtb.-J. W. Gay, and Douglas, youngest son of Mr. Thomas and tho lato Mrs. Bacon. Tho ceromony was performed 'by tho Rev. E. J. Rich, and Mrs. Hunn presided at the organ. Tho bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a gown of ivory satin cut on classical lines, her veil being arranged in cap fashion to form a Spanish fan offoct. Sho carried a beautiful shower bouquet. The bridesmaids wero Miss Ada Gay, sister of tho bride, and Miss Mavis Wolls, who woro attired in lemon georgette, with niching of silk not, and hats to match. They wore amber necklaces and earrings, gifts of tho bridegroom, and carried bouquets of autumn-tinted flowors.' Little Marie Jones, cousin of tho bride, attended as flower-girl, prettily frockod in green silk net over taffeta. Sho carried a gold basket filled with flowers to tone, and woro a pearl nocklaco, tho gift of the bridegroom. .J

Mr. A. Shepnrd was best man and M*. G. Orr, groomsman. A reception was held in the Orange Hall. Mrs. Gay, mothor of the bride, wearing a brown silk crepe Barbara ensemble, with bouquet of contrasting shaded flowers, received her gnosts.

Later, Mr. and Mrs. D. Bacon left by car for llio north, tho bride travelling, in a coriso nuitalasso frock and eamclhnir coat, the gift 'of tho bridegroom.
