The wedding took place at St. Paul's. Pro (Jathedral recently oi' Gwendolyn Iwulh, youngest daughter of Mi1, and Sirs."lll Bayuor-Pearson, Wadestown, to Marcus James, second son of Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Clapham, Wellington. Tho Rev. Canon James" performed the ceremony, and Mr. Bobert Parker, C.M.G., presided at the organ. The bride, who was oscorted by her brother-in-law, Mr. N. Fordham, wore a boautiful frock of pastel pink laco, with matching velvet bows ftt shoulder and waist, a little pin-tucked cap, and a veil of pink tullo with a single spray of orange blossom at tho back of tho head. She carried a bouquet of pink carnations, roses, and lily of the valley. Mrs. N. Fordham was matron-of-honour. Edhe wore a Jloral sand cropo frock, navy pictma hat, and, carried a bouquet to toup. , ' ... ! - Mr. Jock: WellwoOct' was besthna'n.
A very pleasant reception was held at tho homo of Alts. Pcu'dkani, son., 31 Central Terrace, where Mr. and Mrs. Eaynor-Pcarson received the • guests. Mrs. Raynor-Pearsou woro a brown erepo di> chino ensemble, brown hat, and shoulder xspray to tone. Among those present were tho bridogroom's parents, Mr. aud Mrs. T. W. Clapham, the latter wearing a black marocain ensemble, black hat, and pink shoulder spray; -Mrs. Fordham, son. (who wore red .crepe de chine), Mrs. XTpton .(Hastings), sister of the bride (browtf spotted frock and picture'hat), Mrs. Miller, Misses-Clapham (sisters of tho groom), Misses Clapham (aunts of tho groom), Mr. and Mrs. Alex. Moore, Mr. and Mrs. Harold.Smith (Packakariki), Mrs. Hunter, Mrs. Jack Moore and her daughtor Margaret, Miss yon Kciscnberg, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan, Mrs. A. Eraser and her son Alistair (Master ton), Mrs. Brodie, Mrs. Mclver, Mr. and Mrs. G. Burt, Mrs. Huggins, Mrs. Sword, Mrs. Milno, Messrs. Stan and Noel Claphara, Jack Pearson (brother of the bride).
Mr. and Mrs. M. Clapham sailed by the Monowai on a six weeks' tour. Mrs. Clapham travelled in a grey and cherry ensemble, and cherry hat to match.
