It was stated at the last meeting o£ the Otaki Borough Council that' Waerenga Road was'showing signs of wear, although the work had not been done, for any lengthy period. It was estimated that an amount of £200 would have to be expended, but councillors agreed that there was more urgent street improvement, therefore the matter will be shelved for a time. Footpath improvement is at present being carried out. .
