HUTT PARK RATES
The Petoiio Borough Council decided on Monday to contribute again to' tho payment of the Hutt Park rates on a pro rata population basis, as laet year, Petone's proportion of the payment boing £60. Tho following motion, moved by Councillor E. T. E. Hogg, was carried: "That the Hutt Park Committee be informed that the council is of the opinion that before next year's rates become duo arrangements should be made for remission, or tho committoe promote legislation for exemption."
