L. J. ELLIS'S MOUNTS

L. J. Ellis came down to Wellington from Auckland overnight, and. ho will be remaining here till after the Wellington Meeting.. He is at present nursing an injured left eye, caused by a blow from a- flying clod when he was riding Canopy at Ellerslie yesterday. His rides for the first day at Trentham are Spiral, Palermo, Vintage, Galilee, and Dollar Prince. A. E. Ellis Js rides will include Aga Khan, Diagano, and probably Davolo.
