LONDON, October 10.
The oilers are tantalisingly tempting, so Fred Perry told the "Evening News" on tho transatlantic telephone. Tilden's manager offered 50,000 dollars for a five mouths' tour of America. He had also received an offer of 125,000 dollars for tennis film?, aggregating £25,000. "I believe I could live on that for a lifetime," said Perry, "and that's only a year's earnings. I am going to give deep consideration to tha offers en route for Australia, for which I am leaving tomorrow."
