HEAD CENTRE MEETS
OFFICERS ELECTED
An emphatic denial that there was any discord between the Wellington Head Centre of the Eoyal Life-saving Society and (lie Surf Association was given by Mr. N. A. Ingram, president of the former society, at its annual meeting last night. In moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet, details of v.'hvcli have already appeared in "Tho Post," Mr. | Ingrain expressed great appreciation of tho work during tho past year ol the chairman (Air. J. D. Hurner), the secretary (Mr. J. M. Arthur), and the examiners. He spoke of the difficulties brought about by the financial depression, but thought that, taken all round, the society had justification for pride in its position. Speaking to the motion, a delegate suggested that greater progress would be made if representatives of the society interviewed the principals and headmasters of the various colleges and schools. Officers were elected as follows:—Patron, his Majesty the King; president, Mr. N. A. Ingram; vice-presidents, Messrs. V. Allen, G. S. Hill, Miss V. M. Greig, Miss A. M. Batham, Miss I.
