A motion placing on record its sincere appreciation of the fruitful service and noble efforts of the- GovernorGeneral and Lady Blcdisloc in all matters pertaining to the spiritual, moral, and temporal welfare of the people of New Zealand was passed, at today's session of the Diocesan Synod. Synod desired lo express to Lord and Lady Bledi.sloe its real gratitude for all they had done for the Dominion, p its deep regret at their departure, and its fervent hope that they might long be spared to continue their unselfish service in the Homeland for the glory of God and the well-being of mankind.
