WEEKEND ACCIDENTS

Severe scalds to her body, legs, and right arms were suffered by a child, Rosaline Strachan, of 37 The Parade, Island Bay, when she fell into a bucket of hot water yesterday afternoon. The Free Ambulance took her to hospital.

A four-year-old child, Graham Weir, of 5 Salisbury Garden Courts, Wadestown, was removed to hospital by the Free Ambulance yesterday afternoon, suffering from an incised wound to his chin, which was caused by his falling on a tin.

Falling through a sheet of glass at "Homewood,' ' Karori, on Saturday afternoon, a schoolboy, Fred Glensor, of 186 Clydo Street, Island Bay, suffered lacerated wounds to both arms and Ms left leg. He received medical attention ana was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance.

When the car in •which, she was riding hit a pole in the Taita Gorge, near the Silverstream Railway Bridge on Saturday afternoon, Miss O. Lamb, of 3 Queen's Road, Lower Hutt, received concussion, shock, and a fracture of the right leg. She was taken by the Free Ambulance to the Knight's Road Hospital, Lower Hutt.
