APPLICATION IN .COURT CASE

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, This Day. A novel point was raised in an affiliation ease this morning, when counsel for the defendant sought an adjournment for six months to enable a blood group test to be made to disprove paternity. Counsel said that a period oH six months was the shortest in -which a group could be properly settlod. The Magistrate elected to hear the complainant's case, reserving the point raised for consideration if necessary. He remarked that there would bo many such applications if this one was granted.
