THE END OF TRUE BLOOD
True Blood, owned by Mr. W. Scholium, of Auckland, injured himself while running with some cattle at" Pukekohe last week and he had to be destroyed.
True Blood was foaled in 1923 and was by Archery from the Bonifortft mare Bonny Helen. Ho was purchased by Mr. Scholium as a yearling and has raced in his colours throughout his career. He was a good performer, for among the events he won were the Cornwall Handicap at Ellcrslie, the Parliamentary Handicap at Trentham, and the Waikalo Cup at Te Kapa. He also won the Suburban Handicap at Randwick. He was put to hurdling during the latter part of his career and won in thin department at Whangarei,
