END-OF-SEASON SOCIAL
Tlie Wellington Ping-Pong Club's season concluded last evening with a moat enjoyable social and danco at the club's rooms. The opportunity was taken to congratulate tho members of tho club who had been successful in the New Zealand ping-pong championships.- Miss Masters, who won the New Zealand ladies' singles championships was tho recipent of a bouquet of flowers, and Misses M. Williams and M Hollis, who won. tho ladies' doublos, were also presented with bouquets. Features of the evening wero the events in "crazy ping-pong" and progressive and handicap-ping-pong, which were moßt amusing, the members having to play with handicaps such as crazy bats or left handset The rooms woro prettily decorated with ferns and Iceland poppies, and a dainty supper was provided by the ladies of the The appreciation of tho interest Mr. T. S. Williams had taken in the club was expressed by members, and Mr. Bell, on behalf of the visitors, thanked the club for the happy ovening. Those present included Mr. and Mrs. Russell, Mr. and Mrs. Aukitoll, Mr. and Mrs. E. Paul, Mr. and Mrs. Bell, Misses B. McGregor, 0. Bold, 0. Wild, G. Hoskins, Smythe, Leonard, Walker, Tuckwell, Johnstone, Messrs. Watt, Hay vice, Conrick, Mander, Coniboar, Hooper, Warwick, Young, Long, Moult, 0. F. Williams, and Kennedy.
