SOUTHERN CLUB
;A 'meeting of the Southern Tennis Club \vas held at Newtown School. Thel annual report and balance-sheet showed the club to be in a very healthy position fiuancially, although more members were needed. The election of pfficers resulted as follows:—President, Mr. D. Calcinai; treasurer. Mr. D. Muir; secretary, Miss M. Webster; club captain, Mr. C. Webster; committee, Mrs. Young and Miss Norgrove/M,essrs. Garder and Burton. A successful season is anticipated.
