PETONE CLUB
: At the -annual meeting of the Petone Club about fifty . members were present, the chairman being Mr. W. G. Lodder.
Twelve new members were-elected, including two town senior players. The courts, two of which were relaid last season, are iv excellent condition.- The presentation of trophies was made to the vaiS ious winners.. It was decided to hold the opening ■. day on September 29. The president during the presentation estfcnded his congratulations to Miss J. Burns on her recent successes.
The following officers were elected:— President, Mr. W. G. Lodder; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. JVC. Burns, D, McKenzie, and W. Nash, M.P.; management committee,' Mr. H. T. Hoskin (club captain), chairman, Miss D. Laurie, Messrs. R. G. Croudis, J. Eadie, A. M. Macfarlane, A. R. A. Clark; club delegates, Messrs. A. 1t..-A. Clark and J. Eadie; honorary solicitoV, Mr. G. Findlay; honorary secretary, Mr. P. J. Eyan; honorary treasurer, 'Mr. K. M. \Jfcrd; honorary auditor, Miss A. M. Ooehrane; social committee, Mesdames H. T.! Hoskin, Misses Kyau, 11. Ken% M. Kyaii. . . ■ .
