REPRESENTATIVE TEAM
The following women hockey players have been chosen by the selector, Mr. J. C. Cusaek, to represent Wellington in a match against Wairarapa on Saturday, to be played at Newtown Park: —Goal, Mrs. H. Walker (C.0.G.); full-backs, E. Jamiesou (Ramblers), E. Mclndoe (Swifts); halves, N. Gould» (Huia), I. Thomas (Ramblers), A. Lucena (captain) (C.0.G.); forwards, I. Pickering (C.0.G.), E. McClelland (Hniii), H. McLellan (C.0.G.), J. Mack (T.0.G.), P. Hilkie (C.0.G.). Emergencies: Backs, It. Drew (Ramblers), E. Mark CHni.i), M. Kilby (Swifts): forwards, R. Hunt (C.0.G.), T. Wind (Huia).
Motoring offences in Britain averaged 1000 a day last year. Fines to the total of £260,170 were imposed for the year.
