HUTT LADIES' TOURNEY
The Hutt ladies' open golf championship meeting was opened yesterday in perfect weather. The course was in excellent condition and some good cards were returned. The first medal round was won in the A division by Mrs. Slater (Hutt), 81, 8—73. Mrs. Pearce (Miramar) also returned a good score, 82, 8 —74. The B division medal was won by' Miss Dawson, 94, 19—75. In the afternoon the second medal A division was. won. by Mrs. Slater, 83, 7—76, and Miss Dawson. again won the B division,' 95, 18—77.
The following have qualified, for the Hutt open championship:—Mrs.. Slater, 81,. 83—164;', Miss Gambrill, 81, .85-169; Mrs. Pearce, 82, 90—172; Mrs. Partridge, 01, 90—181; Mrs. Shailer Weston, 91, 90— 181; Mrs. Monkman, 01, 03—181; Mrs. Crombie, 88, 96—184; Mrs. Blain, 94, 03— 187; Mrs. Welton Hogg, 94,' 94—188; Miss Dawson, 94, 9,5 —189; Mrs. Foreman, 95, 95—190; Miss Vigor Brown, 96, 97—193; Mrs. Baxter Russell, 89, 104—193; Mrs. Dodson, 95, 98—193; Miss Lee, 101, 93— 194; Miss Wheeler, 96, 98—194. . The following qualified for the Hutt handicap, and are playing as follows: — Miss Bell v.'Miss Plimmer; Miss N. Ballinger v. Mrs. Ancell; Mrs. Galloway v. Mrs. Park; Miss Matthews v. Miss' JlSmith; Mrs. Hunt v. Miss J. Peacock; Mrs. Jones v. Miss J. Marshall; Mrs. Hanison v. Miss Ward; Mrs. Peacock v. Miss P. IBKmdell.
The teams match was won by the Hutt Club A team as follows: —Miss Vigor Brown, 07; Mrs. Partridge, 90; Mrs. Slater, 83; Mrs. Crombie, 96; total. 366. The runners-up were Miramar A team, as follows:—Miss Gambrill, 83; Mrs. Fore: ■man; 95; Mrs. Pearce, 00; 'Mrs. Baxter Russell; 104;' total, 374.
ADELAIDE MJDWEEK LADIES' CLUB
The competition-held yesterday by the Adelaide Midweek Ladies' Club resulted in a win for Miss Shotton, 08, 30—68, the runner-up being Mrs. Harrap, 100, 30—79.
