LONDON, September 1.
Passengers in an aeroplane flying from Paris to London had a remarkable escape when it was struck by lightning during a sudden storm over the Channol, says tho "Daily Mail." The pilot himself was struck on the face and had his hair scorched and his clothing slightly burnt, but carried oii. Nono of the passongors were.aware of what had happened until the machine landed safely at London.- The pilot thca emerged from tho cabin and appeared to bo badly shaken. ■
