• Tho following <omincnt on the new pavilion ,on tho Hutt Bccreation Ground is made in the annual .report of the Hutt Cricket Club:—"We congratulate tho Mayor and his officers in the success of their* efforts in overcoming the many difficulties that presented themselves before the grandstand be^ came an established fact. We view, however, with a measure of apprehension tho unduo encroachment on • a somewhat already restricted playing area when it would appear that the building could readily have' been placed much nearer tho stream."
