Acceptances for all events at the Wel« ling'ton Trotting/Club's Spring Meeting, to, be held at Hutt Park next Saturday, close at 8 o'clock this evening. The meeting will be the first of the .club's four Saturday fixtures to be staged this season. The others, will follow on October 27. January 12, and March 2. The. single-pool system of betting will continue to operate, and the allocation of dividends will be in the ratio of 70, 30, and 10 per cent/^vhere there arei nine or more starters, 75 and' 25 per -cent;- where there are five, six; seven,- or eight stai'tere, and all to-.first horse where there are under five starters. ]<; The minimum unit of investment; will-'-be : ;ss.V :,. : ■■•'.''
