WILFQRD TENNIS CLUB
The annual report of the Wilford Lawn Tennis Club, to be presented at the annual meeting on August 1, states that in the intei-'dub compstitioovs of the Uutt Valley Lawn Tannia Sub-association two teams were entered in the fourth grade and one in the fifth grade. The fourth south team finished ruunara up in its section. In the club ladder, seventy challenges were played throughout (he 6ea» son, and were successfully defended by Miss Z, V O'Nei! and J. E. Taplin During the season the committee was successful ip. bringing to s definite conclusion the following tournaments, for which miniature cups were presented the annual fjsnqe: Club- ohnmpionship. women, Z. V. Q'Neil; men. A. Clark. Women's doubles, handicap (Hogg Cup): G- M. Tngham and 55 V. O'Neil. Men's doubles, handicap: W P. Taplin and T Schneider. Combined doubles, handicap McKinnon Memorial Cup):-Mrs. Q. M. T.ngham and L. G. Flowers. Greatest per*eentntre of inter-clnb wins (Noble Cup}: A. Clark.
