DUBLIN, This Day.
Following a decision of the High. Court declaring the Military Tribunal an "inferior Court," with limited jurisdiction, and quashing the sentence of two years' imprisonment imposed on tho Blue Shirt Captain Hughes for an alleged attempt to bribe a detective, the Free State Government has released twenty-tlireo ' Republicans and fourteen other prisoners, including a Blue Shirt, the majority of .whom are serving sentences imposed. by. the tribunal. It is believed that several political .prisoners awaiting trial are still detained. : Political circles consider that tho Government will now repeal the Public Safety Act, under which the tribunal was constitute*.
