The foremast of the Bear of Oakland was . lifted out today ;in preparation for stepping the new one. Only one will in the Dominion is ablo to carry out the work, ion account- at the length, and the log will be squared to the appropriate size at Auckland. The mast will bo brought to Dunedin by the Waipiata .and stepped by an electric crane. A new jibboom, will also ibe shipped and new rigging' will arrive from New York shortly. Mr. liincoln, Ellsworth's ship, the Wyatt Earp, will leave here next month for South America.
