The standard of marksmanship has suffered a severe decline In-this round, the six teams aEgresatins only 2822 points,: a decrease ot 41 on-the previous round. The individual average was 67.19, a decline of 0.950n the fourth round arid " ■-■'1.29 on last year's - fifth round (record) ■•: average, .of. 68.48.. It is not . unusual ..for one team-to"crash. in a round, but when four out of six do it. there is usually some good cause.. Apparently, however, this round was an exception to the rule, because .there appears.to.be no.outstanding reason why .the score should have fallen off in such a manner.
