BASKETBALL CLUB

The Kia Ora Basketball Club's annual dance was held at the Mayfair .Cabaret and- proved a most successful and enjoyable function. The success was largely due to the efforts of. the committee, which included Misses A. Hennessy, M. Simmons, G. McGurk, C. McGurk, M. Howe, and D. McMahon.

During the evening Miss Thelma Wakeford and Mr. J. Cottier, of the Margaret O'Connor Studio, gave exhibitions of the "Croon Dance," "Quickstep," and "Waltz."
