WAITAKI BEAT TIMARU

OAMARU, July 20.

Bright Itugby marked the annual fixture between Waitaki and Timaru Boys' High Schools today. Waitaki played excellent football, winning by 18 points to 3. Their score was made up of a field goal by Daniel and tries by Borrie (2), Mackay, and Hedges, Mackay converting' one. Timaru's only score was a try by Cleland. The second fifteens played a drawn game, 11 all.
