WEDDINGS

WORTHY— CURTIS.

A wedding which took place at the Hutfc recently was that of Jessica daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A Torthy, Kapler, and Geith. Ernest, eldest son of Mrs. M. Curtis, "Wellington. The Rev. Howard Matthews, Kilbirnie officiated.

■ Tho bride, who was escorted by Mr. H. Bcveridge, wore a charming gown of parchment satin, and her tulle veil was held in place by a wreath of orango blossom. She carried a beautiful shower bouquet of whito chrysanthemums and roses, the gift of a friend. The bridesmaid, Miss Ivy Clowes, wore a green windswept crepe gown with hat to match, and carried a posy of pink carnations. Mr. A. Morrison was best man. The reception was held at the home of the bridegroom's .sister, Mrs. If. Beveridge, Lower Hutt. The bride's travelling gown was a smart brown crepe, ensemble. AVOLLEY—K.ERKAHAX. The wedding-was held recently, at St. Michael and All Angels' Church Kelburn, of Bertha Jane, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. If. I. Kernahan, of "Wellington, to Charles Lenon, eldest son of Mrs. E. Reid, Hamilton. The Rev. G. I? Petrie performed the ceremony,.and Mr. AVeir was at the organ. Tho bride, > who" was escorted by her father, wore a ■ charming gown of ivory laeo- and an embroidered veil, held, in place by a circlet of orange b.lossom. Her bouquet was of orchids cyclamen,' and maidenhair fern. The brido was attended by her sister, Miss Braida Kernahan, who wore a frock of green net find georgette, with cap to match, and carried a bouquet to ton p.

Mr. L. 11.I1. •Kernahan. was best man. A reception was hold at the Ritz, Manners Street; Tho" guests wore-re-ceived by Mrs. Ksrnahan, who wore a gown of brown r.r.inkle crepe with. h,-u and coat to match.
