A'challenge match' for' the iiidoor boWU mg badges was played at the Winter Show Building on Saturday afternoon between the holders, Island Bay (Hanse'n, Ricketts, Estall, Hart, s) and Lyall Bay (Cull, Parsons, John 0 Gorman, Noad, s). The holders appeared to have their opponents well beaten in the early stages,. and on the fifteenth head they were leading, 21-S. The challengers then began jio find touch and gathered sufficient points-to'even'the scores, 21-all. on the final head, leaving Island Bay in possession of the badges. , Next week's : challengers .will be club? -mates .of .the holders, and. will be- skipped by Gonder. ...■'. ■■ •-• •■•- ■ . ■
